Camp Fire Snohomish County collects personally identifiable information when you register for camp, apply for staff or volunteer positions, apply for club membership, or select an e-mail link. Once you submit any of these on-line forms to us you are not anonymous to us.
Information collected from you is used to process your request and to provide you with future information related to the requested service, special events and other services we may offer that may be of interest to you.
We do not utilize cookies or collect information in other ways not referenced in this policy. Cookies are small pieces of information that some web sites store on your computer to help them identify you or provide customized information.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
Camp Fire Snohomish County will not sell, rent or otherwise provide anyone your personally identifiable information unless:
We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Camp Fire Snohomish County to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently these companies do not have the right to use this information beyond what is necessary to assist you.);
We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal processes;
We find that your actions on our web site violates the Camp Fire Snohomish County terms of service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products and services.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete your Account Information and Preferences
You have the right to request us to edit or delete subscription service information and program registration related information you submit to us; staff/volunteer position applications and program/event registration information are handled by us in the same manner as those received in the US Mail. To request assistance with any information we may have from you please contact us by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
All information submitted to us is password protected when received at our office. All on-line forms except camp registrations and donations are transferred from the web site to our office by standard, non-encrypted, e-mail. While there is little risk of your information being intercepted please consider this risk. Program/event registrations and donations are entered using a SSL encrypted web page and stored on a secure server using password access to protect your personal and financial information.
Camp Fire Snohomish County may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our web site.
