About Camp Fire Snohomish County

Camp Fire connects young people to the outdoors, to others, and to themselves.

Founded in 1910, Camp Fire was the first nonsectarian, multiracial organization for girls and is now an inclusive national youth development nonprofit serving all young people. Through camps, outdoor education, afterschool programs, and leadership opportunities, Camp Fire provides youth with experiences that build confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.

Our Commitment to the Outdoors

Connecting young people to nature is at the heart of what we do.

We believe all young people should experience the power and awe of the outdoors and learn to respect, love, and care for our world. Time in nature supports physical and mental well-being, and nature-based learning is a powerful tool for youth development. At Camp Fire, we don’t just enjoy nature—we learn from it and work to protect and steward it.
